8 More Medals in 2018 brings our total to 58 in only 9 years.

Results from the 2018 Mid-American Wine Competition are in and we are proud to be the winners of 5 Silver medals.  Winners were Mittler Kabinett, Ebenezer Lieblich, Knights Red, Cranberry Bog, and Stormy Night.    Three Bronze medals were awarded to our wines, the winners are Chateau Blanc, Fleur de Lis, and Monk's Red.


The Medals keep pouring in with 6 more in 2017

Medal winners this year include Cranberry Bog, Ebenezer Lieblich, Knight's Red, and Sweet Carolwine received Silver Medals. Bronze went to Mittler Kabinett and Oktoberfest.


White Cross Collects 9 medals including two Gold in 2016

The medal count keeps increasing as we grabbed 2 more gold medals with our Knight's Red and Ebenezer Lieblich.  Silver medals went to Sweet Carolwine, Oktoberfest, Mittler Kabinett and Stormy Night.  Bronze medals to Chateau Blanc and our best seller Cranberry Bog.  It's another great year.

White Cross Cellars grabs 6 More Medals in 2015

Medals just keep coming our way with another 6 this year.  Silver medals in 2015 were Chateau Blanc, Mittler Kabinett, Ebenezer Lieblich, and Oktoberfest.  Grabbing Bronze Medals were Monk's Red and Stormy Night. That brings our total to 36 medals in six years!


White Cross Cellars Strikes Gold in 2014

We earned 3 gold medals at the 2014 Mid-American Wine Competition where wineries from 17 Midwestern states competed.  Our Gold Medal wines are Chateau Blanc, Ebenezer Lieblich, and Oktoberfest and an additional honor was achieved as Ebenezer Lieblich and Oktoberfest both were nominated for the Sweepstakes awards given to the best of the best wines in the annual competition.  A Silver medal was claimed by our new release Fleur-de-lis and Bronze medals went to Mittler Cabinett and Cranberry Bog.

That brings our total medal count in 5 years to 30!!


White Cross Cellars Earns Six more Medals in 2013

The 2013 Mid-American Wine Competition is open to wineries from the 16 Midwestern states and White Cross Cellars was honored with six more medals.  Earning SILVER MEDALS were Knight's Red (our Bordeaux style blend) Ebenezer Lieblich (our Spatlese German style) and Oktoberfest (our Auslese German style).  Bringing home the BRONZE MEDALS Monk's Red, Chateau Blanc and Cranberry Bog.

Six more Medals in 2012

The 2012 Mid-American Wine Competition  brought six more medals of the White Cross family of wines.  Knight's Red (based on traditional French Bordeaux wines) took home a Silver Medal. 2012 Bronze Medal winners were Chateau Blanc, Mittler Kabinet, Ebenezer Lieblich, Cranberry Bog and Stormy Night. The Competition is open to wineries from 16 Midwestern states

Eight Medal Winners in 2011

Winning Silver Medals were Mittler Kabinett, Oktoberfest, Knight's Red, and Stormy Knight.  Grabbing Bronze Medals were Chateau Blanc, Ebenezer Lieblich, Monk's Red and Cranberry Bog. The 2011 Mid-American Wine Competition is open to wineries from 16 Midwestern states.


Four White Cross Cellars wines are medal winners in 2010.

Four of our wines have won medals at the 2010 Mid-American Wine Competition. A Silver Medal was awarded to Ebenezer Lieblich, and Bronze Medals were awarded to Mittler Kabinett, Fleur-di-lis, and Knight’s Red. The 2010 Mid-American Wine Competition was held July 9-11, 2010, in Ankeny, Iowa and focused only on the wines of the Midwest. The competition was open only to commercial wineries of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
