The 2014 Vintner's Dinner schedule:
Our Vintner's Dinners are very popular. They are 4-5 course meals with each course paired with a White Cross Cellars wine. The evening begins at White Cross Cellars with a wine tasting and appetizers at 6pm and then continues at the Ox Yoke Inn for the remaining 4 courses.
The theme for our April Vintner's Dinner is:
April in Paris
Cuisine from the "City of Light"
First Course at White Cross Cellars
Assorted Appetizers with an open tasting of
all 10 White Cross Cellars Wines
Second Course at the Ox Yoke Inn
French Onion Soup
Paired with White Cross Cellars Fleur-de-Lis
Chicken Cordon Bleu on a bed of rice accompanied by Mustard and Rosemary Roasted Asparagus
Paired with White Cross Cellars Mittler Kabinett
A classic French Cheese Course featuring 3 assorted cheese
Paired with White Cross Cellars Chateau Blanc
Tarte Tatin (Caramel and Apple Tarte)
Paired with White Cross Cellars Oktoberfest
Seating is limited and reservations are required. The price for the entire evening is only $55.00* per person, including tax.
*Due to a change in Iowa State Laws the tip is no longer included in the price of the evening.

2014 Food and Wine Pairing 101
Learn the basics of pairing wines and food to make a great meal This tasting event will feature 7 White Cross Cellars wines paired with samples of different foods. You will learn how to select the best wine for each food.
The cost of this fun event is $10/person and includes a logo wine glass. Reservations are required. Either call White Cross Cellars or stop by the day of the event and reserve your spot. Space is limited.
